Stoke Park aerial 4

Stoke Park

Nightingale Road, Guildford GU1 1ER

In partnership with Guildford Borough Council, we are proud to manage all tennis activity at Stoke Park.

Stoke Park is Guildford’s hidden tennis gem! Following recent refurbishment, 4 all-weather tennis courts are available year-round. This impeccably maintained site is enclosed within a beautiful walled rose garden and surrounded by palm trees, making Stoke Park one of the most picturesque park tennis venues in the country. Players of all ages and abilities are now invited to come and enjoy fun, fitness and friendship!

So whether you’re looking for a fun, social game of doubles with friends, a casual hit with family or battling for bragging rights in a Local Tennis Leagues match, Stoke Park is the perfect venue.

Customers will be pleased to know that the venue operates an upgraded pay-and-play online booking system. This means sports enthusiasts can easily book online in advance, without the commitment of a membership fee.…it’s as simple as search – book – play.

All courts are wheelchair friendly with sloped pathing up to each court gate. Other facilities include an outdoor gym, playground, skate park, football and rugby pitches, splash park, high rope activity, bowls club and seasonal café.

Being centrally located in Guildford it has great transport links, with both train stations of Guildford and London Road being just a short 10min walk to the park which works out well for a gentle warm down after your booking. Bus routes 3/3s/33/34/35 pass the park on Stoke Road and routes 18/25/36/100/462 pass via London Road.

There is a small pay and display car park onsite via Nightingale Road with a few additional free parking bays on Nightingale Road itself (time limits apply).

There are no changing rooms onsite, however toilets are available, and these are open daily from 09:00 - dusk.

At Premier Tennis Surrey, it's our goal to re-activate tennis within the community and provide a range of affordable coaching and playing opportunities for all ages and abilities. If coaching is not for you, try one of our upcoming Hit ‘n’ Mix social sessions or perhaps one of our renowned Bootcamp Tennis classes for a full body workout. Courts are available to book year-round.
